What Will My Child’s First Visit Be Like?

During your first visit, our team will examine your child’s mouth to make sure their baby teeth are coming in safely and we will perform a cleaning, too. Also, if you haven’t already, you will fill out the necessary paperwork for your child to become a member of our patient family. 

Additionally, we will talk with you about your child’s current oral health habits and answer any questions you may have. At-home care and education are very important to us, so we’ll provide you with any information and materials you may need to help them take care of their teeth as their mouth develops and more teeth emerge.

How Often Will My Child Come to the Dentist’s Office?

Visiting the dentist for a checkup and cleaning twice a year is strongly recommended to maintain total oral health. Making a routine of visiting our team at Test Pediatric 2 will also help your child conquer any fear of the dentist and even help them look forward to the experience! 

Beyond the standard biannual appointments, we are always available for any additional oral health needs your child may have.

What Happens During Regular Pediatric Dental Visits?

Like an adult dental exam, one of our expert dental hygienists will take a close look at your child’s mouth and perform a thorough professional cleaning. We’ll also follow up with you about any new developments in oral health or habits since your last visit and provide any insight or guidance.
